Kathmandu: The weather across Nepal is expected to be partly to generally cloudy today. This weather pattern is attributed to the influence of a western low-pressure system and an induced low-pressure system in the northeast region of Assam and adjoining areas of India.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported light rain occurring in some areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
During the afternoon, the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province, are forecasted to experience partly cloudy conditions. Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places within these provinces.
In higher elevations, particularly in the high hilly and mountainous regions, there is a chance of light snowfall in some areas.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, Madhes, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy conditions. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur in some places in the remaining hilly regions during the night
